We aim to respond to all inquiries within 2 - 3 business days. During peak periods (close to submission deadlines), response times may be slightly longer.

Frequently Asked Questions

When will the submission system open?

The EasyChair submission system will open on June 1, 2025. You can create an account in advance.

Are virtual/remote presentations possible?

SMSociety 2026 is an in-person conference. All presenting authors are expected to attend in Copenhagen. Remote presentations are not available for this edition.

Can I get an invitation letter for my visa?

Yes. After completing your registration, contact visa@smsociety2026.org with your registration confirmation and passport details.

Is there a student volunteer program?

Yes. Student volunteers receive a waived registration fee in exchange for assisting with conference logistics. Applications open in January 2026.
